The 'Don't Think I'm Not' songstress, who is a member of Xscape, is not letting online critics disparage her singing skills as she shares a video of her performing a high note.

AceShowbiz - Kandi Burruss will not let haters disparage her skills in singing. The member of the multi-platinum R&B female vocal group Xscape did not hesitate to hit back at online critics who commented on her high notes.
On Wednesday, July 3, the 48-year-old star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" made use of her X, formerly known as Twitter, account to share her response to criticisms over her singing skills. She began writing, "Live from soundcheck today…"
Kandi went on to say, "To those who have been having a great debate on if I can still hit the note or not. She can & Does!" She then stressed, "We do not lip sync on the #QueensOfRandBTour." Concluding her message, she pointed out, "So every now & then I may get a little hoarse. But not today Satan!" adding a slew of laughing face emojis.
In the same tweet, the "Don't Think I'm Not" singer uploaded a video from the soundcheck. It could be seen that she was standing onstage at a venue. While holding a microphone in one of her hands, the singer/songwriter, who was joined by her entourage, sang before performing a high note. Near the end of the clip, she turned her face at the camera and showed her two middle fingers.
For the soundcheck, the reality TV star opted to wear a chic and casual ensemble. She rocked a white polo mini dress, which came with small patterns all over it, and a pair of white-and-black sneakers. She enhanced the look with a pair of hoop earrings, a bracelet and wrist watch. In addition, her long hair was styled in curls and let loose.
The short footage was later shared by a blog on Instagram, prompting social media users to voice their thoughts on Kandi's singing skills. In the comments section, one in particular came to her defense, writing, "It's sad that she still have to prove herself when her voice made her more money than all the haters that talk shxt, I think people forget celebrities are still humans and have moments just like everyone else does keep going kandi."
In contrast, another complained, "Kandi... this didn't help you baby... the beat is louder than your singing... you OVERsang the note in rehearsal and UNDERsang it live. Make it make sense." Similarly, a third chimed in, "Still a hard NO for me but A for effort " A fourth stated, "Tone and vocal ability is not good! High note is a mess! Other than that she looks great, she's on tour, and she's rich! Not mad at it."
