Todd made use his platform to talk about racism in America. Sharing a selfie of himself and Chloe, Todd wrote in the caption, "Silent Racism, I Love How God Made Me, and It's Enough. While some people applauded him for the message, one particular person slammed Todd for biracial marriages. "Im sorry I don't like it marry your own color it really screws up the kids," the naysayer wrote in the comment section.
In response to the comment, Todd wrote back, "Hello Patti, I hope that the lord lets you live long enough to see that color doesn't screw kids up , but ignorance and hate most certainly will, I will pray that God tempers your heart and the he grants you clarity."
This is not the only time Todd is speaking on any kind of social injustice on his Instagram page. Prior to this, Todd shared a message by Nelson Mandela that read, "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."
Captioning the image, Todd said, "It's such a simple path to take yet the road is so less traveled , I will live what years my God has left for me with love , compassion , honesty and transparency, what you see is what you get , and I will make sure that my life is filled only with inclusive behaviour, that my kids and grandkids see what true love for all human beings look like."
