An artist named Will K has accused the 'No Drama' singer and hr collaborator MakJ of lifting the tune from his works without crediting him in addition to fraudulent misrepresentation.

AceShowbiz - R&B star Tinashe is facing copyright infringement allegations from an Australian producer over her song "Save Room for Us".
The 27 year old teamed up with fellow singer MakJ for the track, which featured on her 2019 album Songs for You, but now the pair has been accused of lifting the tune from an artist named Will K - and failing to credit him.
In legal papers obtained by The Blast, the plaintiff, full name William Kissas, claims he had been in touch with MakJ in February, 2019, about "putting together some musical tracks and recordings" for future studio sessions with Tinashe.
He alleges he shared files of his "own original musical tracks and recordings", with the understanding that if they were used by Tinashe, he would be given a production credit and compensation.
However, Will insists that did not happen, even though MakJ - real name Mackenzie Johnson - had reportedly promised to "get it figured out" after acknowledging his contributions to "Save Room for Us".
Now Will is suing for copyright infringement and fraudulent misrepresentation, and demanding unspecified damages and "all profits" from the song, which was released as a single in February.
He also wants the defendants to cover his legal fees, and is requesting an injunction banning the continued sale of "Save Room for Us".
Tinashe and MakJ have yet to respond to the lawsuit.
