AceShowbiz - Tinashe has unveiled the music video for her song titled "Cross That Line", which she launched in August. In the newly-released visuals, the "No Broke Boys" songstress gets dragged into a cell.
On Tuesday, December 10, the 31-year-old singer/dancer published the official music video for "Cross That Line" via YouTube. In the beginning of the 2-minute clip, it can be seen that her hands are cuffed when she is dragged by two unidentified men, who cover their faces in matching black masks.
The men are holding Tinashe's arms tightly as they walk in a tight hall that comes with white wall and CCTV cameras. Along the way, she is trying so hard to escape. At one point, she kicks her feet in front of the camera.
Later on, the "Nasty" singer is placed inside a room before its door is locked from the outside. The room also features many CCTV cameras and a small vintage television, which is put on the floor. The footage later shows her dancing in frustration. She even does a split before touching the floor with her hands.
In the middle of the video, Tinashe notices that there is a window, seemingly thinking that she can escape from the cell through it. She decides to crash it by throwing the TV. As the glass breaks into pieces, she finds her way out. She then gets out of the cell and finds herself being watched by a crowd of people at a cinema.
For the clip, Tinashe's chest and private area are covered with a white tape, which is formed to look like a bodysuit. Her elbow down to her wrist is also covered with the tape. Exposing her butt cheeks, she wears a pair of barely-there white pants. In addition, her curly long blonde hair is styled in two braids.
The music video came a few months after Tinashe dropped "Cross That Line". The track, which serves as the fifth track of her album "QUANTUM BABY", reflects on "the desire to fully commit to a relationship and not miss out on potential love."
