AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian and her sisters like to pull a prank on each other with her covering her sister's home with toilet paper on Mother's Day. While some people took issue at her joke and slammed Khloe as it might appear insensitive for others, especially during the Coronavirus crisis, some others jumped to the Good American Jeans founder's defense.
Noting that the joke was harmless, a supporter of the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star wrote, "Come on now. This is not hurting anyone." Someone else weighed in on the matter and said, "Where they all live is exclusive, so it's not hurting that area either. Everyone, take a deep breath. Everything will be fine.
However, another user insisted that Khloe was in the wrong. "It was wasteful plain and simple. One might expect this from teenagers, but grown women should know better," the person claimed.
To celebrate Mother's Day, Khloe and Kourtney's 10-year-old son Mason Disick pranked Kourtney by covering Kourtney's house with toilet paper. "So I haven't had this much excitement in months," Kourtney was heard saying in the May 9 Instagram video. "This is what I come out to. This is what Mason and Koko do when they have a sleepover."
While Kris Jenner and Scott Disick had a good laugh from the joke, some people called out Khloe for the ill-timing joke. "I was hopeful that they would all just go away. This just shows you how out of touch they are with reality. People in the real world have so much more important things going on now," a critic said.
A Facebook user also called the action "a disgusting display of privilege when so many are hurting and have little to nothing at this time!" Another naysayer chimed in, "Khloe Kardashian proudly toilet papers Kourtney Kardashian's mansion as a prank, even though there's a worldwide shortage of toilet paper."
"there are people who really need that and are desperately searching for it. next time please think before you post something like that kourtney," read another comment.
Khloe has yet to comment on the backlash.
