The 'Suge' rapper only earns backlash from social media users after he spoke up about an arrest warrant issued for him for allegedly punching a driver in Las Vegas.

AceShowbiz - DaBaby is telling everyone not to believe everything they heard on the Internet after reports surfaced about him allegedly assaulting a driver in Las Vegas. Defending himself against the allegations, he took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, May 5 to deny the assault claims.

"100% false. Y'all stay positive," he wrote over a plain black background. The 28-year-old hip-hop star added, "The devil gone always try you when you doing good."

DaBaby Claims Driver Assault Allegations '100 Percent False'

DaBaby denies driver assault allegations.

His attorney Drew Findlay echoed his claim, saying in a statement to TMZ, "A 100% false accusation which suspiciously pops up in February regarding an alleged incident in November." The lawyer additionally claimed that money is the motive behind the allegations, saying, "We can smell another attempted money grab."

But instead of believing him, people think that the denial is an old narrative created by an abuser. "He always denies afterwards.. Typical abuser behavior!!!! They never admit their wrong....EVER!!!!" one slammed DaBaby.

"It's always 100 percent false with him! I can't! Lol," another responded to his claim. "So the arrest warrant is false?" a third user rhetorically asked, while another unconvinced person commented, "HES DAPROBLEM."

The alleged assault incident reportedly happened back in November 2019, when DaBaby and his friend ordered car service in Las Vegas. Inside the Mercedes Sprinter van, the Cleveland-born rapper and his friend lit up a joint and the driver told them that they're not allowed to.

But DaBaby and his friend apparently didn't take a "No" well and started cursing out the driver and threatening him. When they arrived at their destination, which was the Hard Rock Hotel, the driver told his passengers it was time to pay up. The driver claimed DaBaby punched him in the back of the head and said, "You ain't the boss."

One of the suspects allegedly also told the driver, "You're lucky you're not in my city because I would have killed you cracker motherf***er." The death threat reportedly didn't stop there as someone said they "would have left him (the driver) dead on the road."

An arrest warrant is now reportedly out to bring in DaBaby for misdemeanor battery.
