Josh Pieters and Archie Manners have managed to convince the Big Cat Rescue CEO into believing that she was giving her first major interview to 'The Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon.

AceShowbiz - "Tiger King" star Carole Baskin doesn't have any hard feelings after being duped by YouTubers Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, and instead has praised the pair for their "cleverness" in setting up such a "fun prank."

The pranksters managed to convince the Big Cat Rescue CEO into believing she was chatting to "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" host Jimmy Fallon, as they posed as producers and explained that the coronavirus lockdown and the nature of the presenter's virtual show meant she wouldn't actually be able to see Fallon.

They then patched together a sample of Jimmy's TV questions about cats over the years and told Baskin to simply answer them, with the breakout star subsequently reflecting on life in lockdown at her sanctuary, revealing she has been forced to let half her staff go, and her campaign to support the Big Cat Safety Act.

After Pieters and Manners posted the bogus interview on YouTube over the weekend (May 02-03), Baskin opened up about the prank to Us Weekly, insisting she wasn't put out that she'd been targeted by the duo.

"I was suspicious as we were doing it because the questions appeared taped," she said. "But had no idea it would turn out to be such a fun prank. It gave us a very welcome good laugh. I appreciate their cleverness and that they created their video in a way that I don’t feel was in any way mean-spirited."
