The 'Un-Break My Heart' hitmaker responds to speculations suggesting she hooked up with the basketball star in the past following the airing of ESPN documentary.

AceShowbiz - Toni Braxton has hit back at rumours she dated basketball star Dennis Rodman, admitting that even though she thought the sportsman was "kinda hot," their friendship never turned romantic.

The topic of the nature of Toni's relationship with Dennis came up on social media following the latest episode of ESPN's sports documentary "The Last Dance", which aired on Sunday night, April 26, 2020, with the "Un-Break My Heart" star responding after questions from fans, "(I even thought) @dennisrodman was kinda hot in the 90s, I never dated Dennis Rodman. We were at the VMAs."

Toni and Dennis attended the MTV Video Music Awards together back in 1996.

Dennis' famous romances provided much of the content on the latest episode of "The Last Dance", a miniseries focusing on basketball team the Chicago Bulls between 1997 and 1998.

Carmen Electra, who Dennis dated in the 90s, also made an appearance during the show, to recall one particular incident when she had to hide from Michael Jordan behind a sofa.

Remembering how Michael tried to track Dennis down when his former teammate didn't come to practise, Carmen said, "There's a knock on the door, and it's Michael Jordan." She explained, "And I hid. I didn't want him to see me like that. So I'm just, like, hiding behind the couch with covers over me."

Carmen and Dennis went on to get married in 1998, but split six months later.
