The 'Shape of You' hitmaker and his business partner are forced to fire the manager of their pub Bertie Blossoms in London following numerous complaints.

AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran has reportedly parted ways with the manager of his London pub Bertie Blossoms after customers complained about poor service.

Ed opened the spot last September 2019, but according to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, the "Shape of You" star and manager Alex Hughes weren't seeing eye to eye on the running of the Notting Hill establishment in west London.

The publication reported Ed and his business partner in the venture, Stuart Camp, have parted ways with Alex following a string of bad reviews from patrons.

Bertie Blossoms is currently closed amid the coronavirus pandemic and Ed is covering his staff's wages since shutting the pub's doors at the end of March 2020.

"Ed's told everyone not to worry and that he's picking up the tab and he'll see them all again for a massive p**s-up once the world gets back to normal," an insider confirmed.

"Ed even told staff they could go out and seek other employment if they wanted or go help the nation by doing voluntary work."

The isolation period comes at an opportune moment for the star, who announced a career break late last year after wrapping his mammoth, two-year Divide Tour.
