The 'Orange Is the New Black' star admits she had no idea why her emotions were all over the place when directing her character's hostage drama three years ago.

AceShowbiz - Actress Laura Prepon first learned she was pregnant with her daughter Ella after directing an episode of "Orange Is the New Black", in which her character was taken hostage and bound and gagged.
The star, now a mum-of-two, had no idea why her emotions were all over the place for the episode - the first one she directed - three years ago.
"It was pretty surreal...," she tells "The Talk". "That particular story line, myself and Taylor (Schilling), my co-star, were taken hostage and wrapped in a shower curtain, naked, with our arms tied behind our back and our ankles bound. We were gagged with Duct Tape and it was insane."
"There were all these torture scenes, where we had to cry and all this crazy stuff... I was acting and directing in these crazy scenes and right after the episode ended I found out I was pregnant... I'm so happy I didn't know."
