AceShowbiz - Ellen DeGeneres is returning to TV after her daytime U.S. show was shut down by the coronavirus lockdown.

The "Finding Dory" star will host "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" from her home from Monday (April 06), and she has secured Jennifer Lopez as her first remote guest.

"Since going into quarantine two weeks ago, I've been doing my show at home every day. But only for Portia (de Rossi, partner)," Ellen writes in a statement. "Starting Monday, you'll be able to see it too, and I can't wait."

DeGeneres, who has been hosting Ellen's "Home Quarantine" series on her YouTube channel over the past two weeks, has also scored remote guests like David Spade and John Legend for her first week back in action.

Syndicated U.S. talk show host Wendy Williams will also return to TV on Monday with new segments taped from her home in New York City.

"I may not be in my purple chair, and it may not look the same but I'm very excited to get back to my Wendy Watchers," Williams said.
