The 'Isn't It Romantic' actress opens up about what she finds so attractive about the Jonas Brothers member, saying that he loves her ambition and is always proud of her.

AceShowbiz - Priyanka Chopra is marrying "a version" of her father. When talking about her husband Nick Jonas in a new podcast interview with Diane von Furstenberg, the "Isn't It Romantic" actress gushed over his traits that she finds attractive and why he reminded her of her late father Ashok Chopra.

In the Thursday, March 19 edition of "InCharge with DVF" podcast, the 37-year-old beauty admitted to have told her younger husband about his likeness to her father. "I always tell him that. I feel like my mother manifested him in my life. And you know, they always say that girls end up marrying someone who's like your father, and Nick is," she spilled.

On what characteristics the two seemed to share, the former "Quantico" star elaborated, "He's someone who's the life of a party. He'll always have friends around him, he'll make people laugh, super thoughtful, conscientious, kind." She went on to conclude, "I do feel like I ended up marrying a version of my dad."

Priyanka additionally discussed about his support for her. "I really feel, like, being with someone like my husband now, there's such an incredible power," she said. "It's so attractive to me that he … feels empowered when he sees me empowered. Like, he'll stand on a [red] carpet on the side and watch when they're taking pictures. He'll, like, want to see things I've done. Like, he feels so proud."

The former Miss World winner further gushed over how he impressed her with his answer to "five things that we love about each other." She recalled, "And the first thing he said was 'your ambition.' I've never heard a guy say that."

The interview came one day after Priyanka revealed that she and Nick have been in self-quarantine for more than a week amid the coronavirus pandemic. "This is such an insane time and all of our lives have been completely turned upside down," she said on Instagram Live on Wednesday, March 18.

"It feels like something out of a movie, but it's not and we know that. Nick and I have been home for the last week, and this is day 8 of self-isolation for us," the "Baywatch" actress continued detailing. While admitting the sudden change to their busy schedules felt "just crazy," she assured, "We're safe, we're healthy, we're practicing social distancing."
