The 'Beverly Hills Cop III' actress and her fiance have already reached out to Vanderpump Dogs, the Blair Foundation, and Pit Bulls for Parolee after a violent outburst from the nine-month-old canine.

AceShowbiz - Actress Heather Elizabeth Parkhurst will rehome one of her pit bulls dogs after it mauled her arm.

The "Beverly Hills Cop III" star is finding a new home for her nine-month-old canine Shorty, after it attacked the actress at her West Hollywood home earlier this month, her fiance Mark Nason told TMZ.

While they initially planned to keep both dogs, Heather and Mark have already reached out to three different organisations, with Vanderpump Dogs, the Blair Foundation, and Pit Bulls for Parolees each offering to work with Shorty following the violent outburst.

Heather was petting the pup when their other pit bull, eight-year-old Buddha, appeared to get jealous and growled. The two dogs then lunged at each other, but Heather's right hand and arm got caught in the middle of the violent incident.

The "Alpha Dog" actress was rushed to the hospital to treat her injuries, which included crushed bones in her hand, torn ligaments and other deep cuts throughout her arm.

According to Mark, the star will require a year of therapy to recover.
