The 'Grace and Frankie' actress rules out going under the knife again to maintain her youthful look as she says, 'I have to work every day to be self-accepting.'

AceShowbiz - Jane Fonda has ruled out ever having any more plastic surgery, but admitted she still struggles to accept herself as she is.

The 82-year-old actress still looks as glamorous as ever when she hits the red carpet for a premiere or awards ceremony, but has been open about the amount of work it's taken to maintain her flawless visage and enviable hourglass figure.

But in an interview with Elle Canada, the "Grace and Frankie" star insisted she won't be going under the knife anymore.

"I can't pretend that I'm not vain, but there isn't going to be any more plastic surgery - I'm not going to cut myself up anymore," she told the magazine for their March issue.

After taking a long pause, Jane added, "I have to work every day to be self-accepting; it doesn't come easy to me."

But the screen star tries to lift her spirits by poking fun at herself in hilarious posts on her social media pages.

"I try to make it very clear that it has been a long and continuing struggle for me," she said. "I post pictures of me looking haggard - and once with my tooth out!"

It was in her 2018 documentary, "Jane Fonda in Five Acts", that the acting veteran came clean about her plastic surgery past. And as to why she'd decided to go public with that revelation, Jane replied, "I knew that if I really told the truth, it would be universal. All these issues are universal among women: 'I'm not good enough; I have to please, starting with Daddy; I'm not pretty enough; I'm not thin enough; I'm not smart enough.' "
