AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber is mourning the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant. The "Sorry" hitmaker took to her Instagram account to share a tribute to the late athlete, who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday, January 26.

The Canadian heartthrob posted a photo of him donning a vintage blue Lakers jersey with Kobe's name and original number 8 on the back. The throwback jersey represents the Lakers original colors from their days in Minneapolis, and in Los Angeles from 1960 to 1967, and was re-made as part of the 2003 Hardwood Classics collection.

The photo was apparently taken in a large van or small bus in the image. He then shared Kobe's death inspired him to do better. "I am committed working the hardest, never settling for less than greatness! YOU TAUGHT US THAT @kobebryant," so he wrote in the caption.

"Amen," Patrick Schwarzenegger said in the comment section. "YOURE AN AMAZING PERSON," one fan chimed in while someone else said, "WE MISS YOU KOBE."

Prior to this, the "Yummy" singer took to his Instagram account to pay tributes to the basketball star. "It can't be. You always encouraged me mamba," Justin wrote a throwback pic of the pair when Justin was 13 years old. "Gave me me some of the best quotes that we smile about to this day.! Love you man!"

In the picture, Justin could be seen donning a red jacket over a white tee. Kobe, meanwhile, stood next to him in an all-black outfit as he hugged the tiny Canadian singer. Justin also updated his Instagram profile pic to be a yellow and gold heart of Kobe's #24, and re-posted the same image three times a row on his Instagram on January 31.

Additionally, Justin reportedly bought a beautiful pop art piece paying tribute to the basketball legend from L.A.'s Idiot Box Art owners Emily Bright and Tamara Martin. The image features an image inspired by Takashi Murakami iconic bear donning Kobe's #8 jersey, a Mamba Sports Academy hoodie and a pair of yellow-and-gold Nike shoes.
