AceShowbiz - Kelly Ripa was caught off guard by her daughter's expenses on Postmates. In an episode of "Live with Kelly and Ryan", the morning talk show host revealed she was upset after seeing Lola Consuelos' food application bill.

The wife of Mark Consuelos discussed the matter during a talk on Tuesday, January 21. "I didn't know our daughter had Postmates," she began. "She's at college and we signed her up for a meal plan 'cause we're not monsters. We signed her up for a meal program."

However, the college freshman was apparently not fond of the food. "But you know, she doesn't like the meals at school, so she was ordering Postmates," she said. "Here's what would happen. She would order the $7 salad, but it would cost $25 to have it delivered three blocks in New York City."

On the other hand, the 49-year-old and her actor husband planned to give their middle child a lesson. "Oh, we shut down that debit card account she had," she stated.

Lola first attended New York University, where her older brother Michael Joseph Consuelos also goes to, back in August 2019. At the time, Kelly took to Instagram to share a nostalgic photo from her daughter's Christening accompanied by a heartfelt note. "#tbt 2001 from your Christening to college," she recalled. "In the blink of an eye. I'm not crying. You're crying (actually Daddy's sobbing)."

Days later, the mother of three documented the moment she dropped Lola off with a pic of her kissing the 18-year-old. "The nest is getting roomy......…," she captioned the touching snap in addition to a heart emoji.

Kelly then opened up in October about her daughter's new life in an episode of the show. "She loves it, she loves it," she gushed to guest co-host Anderson Cooper. "When she was a little girl, like, three-years-old, she used to play dorm room in her bedroom. First she played sleep away camp, then she played dorm room. So this is like a girl who was meant to live away from us. She was born to live outside of the house."
