AceShowbiz - Awkwafina gets a kick out of surprising passengers who are enjoying her films during plane flights.
"The Farewell" star admits she likes to have a little fun while up in the air, if she spots her fellow flyers watching her work in comedies like "Crazy Rich Asians" and "Ocean's 8".
"'Crazy Rich Asians' on the plane, I love it! There's been times when I'm watching 'Crazy Rich Asians' and then I see people around me watching 'Crazy Rich Asians' and 'Ocean's Eight'," she told "A Little Late with Lilly Singh" on Monday, January 20.
"I'll go up to them. 1 out of 10 times they actually get that I was in the movies - the rest not too good."
The 31-year-old has more in-flight content on the way - her new series "Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens" debuts on Comedy Central on Wednesday.
