When attending Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo on the Gold Coast, the 'Cats' actress jokes that the bidders will 'be the first ones to christen my new dining table.'

AceShowbiz - Rebel Wilson raised $100,000 (£76,373) to help those affected by bushfires in her native Australia by auctioning off a private lunch date.

While attending Sunday's, January 05, Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo on the Gold Coast, the Cats star took bids for the special engagement, which raised a total of $100,000 to aid those fighting the ongoing crisis.

Two separate bids were made at $50,000 (£38,187), and the star chose to accept both for a joint prize.

She told the audience at the event: "You'll be the first ones to christen my new dining table. The house has just been finished."

While the "Pitch Perfect" actress owns more than $17 milllion (£13 million) in property across the globe, it is believed the luncheon will be hosted at her $3.76 million (£2.9 million) Birchwood waterfront property in Sydney, which underwent a $900,000 (£687,357) renovation last year (19).
