Words are the former 'Arrested Development' star has developed a close bond with the 'Ad Astra' actor's children after spending time with them, but his ex isn't happy about it.

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt is reportedly getting serious with Alia Shawkat amid their dating rumors. Rumor has it the Oscar-nominated actor has introduced his alleged girlfriend to his six children from his relationship with Angelina Jolie and his ex isn't happy about it.

In the December 23 issue of Life & Style Weekly, it's reported that the "Maleficent" star is "furious" after her children met the 30-year-old actress and developed a close bond with her. A source said the 44-year-old actress "hit the roof when she heard about Alia being introduced to her children." The source added, "She's extremely protective over them, and no woman will ever be good enough to play stepmom in her eyes - especially so soon. She's furious!"

The publication went on claiming that Brad's children met Alia months ago, when the alleged couple was still early in their relationship. "They all love Alia, especially Shiloh, who's been raving about how cool and quirky she is," the source dished. "The two of them share the same dry senses of humor. And Zahara loves Alia's style. They're even planning a girls' shopping trip to vintage boutiques together."

Fueled by this, Angie reportedly is considering to reignite her custody battle with her ex-husband. "She's even threatened to stop Brad from having them on his birthday [December 18], and over Christmas, if Alia is around," so the so-called insider said. "That would be devastating."

As for Brad's relationship with Alia, the source said they have strong feelings for each other. "For the first time in years, Brad is in a drama-free relationship. He's into Alia and can see the two of them going the distance," so the source was quoted as saying.

Brad and Alia's dating rumors first surfaced in November, after they were spotted at numerous occasions together. While he has not addressed his dating rumors with Alia in particular, the 55-year-old actor recently claimed that none of romance rumors about him since his split from Angie in 2016 were true.

"I don't go out of my way to avoid it (press stories about him); I just don't seek it out," he told The New York Times magazine. "I don't know how many women they've said I've been dating the last two or three years, and none of it's true."
