Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi won't return for the upcoming season of "Jersey Shore Family Vacation". The MTV reality television star revealed she and her family got violent threats so she decided to quit in order to focus on raising her children.
Saying she hated the drama on the show, the mother of three opened up in a new episode of her podcast that she received death threats. "It's just a lot and not something I signed up for with this show," so she explained.
"I hate being away from the kids, I don't like partying three days in a row, it's just not my life anymore," she also said. "And I wanna be home with the kids. I don't mind a here or there going to a dinner or whatever, but it's just really hard on me to leave the kids and film the show."
"Our show, Jersey Shore, is about family and about making fun of each other and having a good time and laughing, and just knowing that it's all in good fun," she claimed. "And lately, it's just like, everything is so serious, and when it comes to our show it's not about like, team this, team that, and fans are against one another when it comes to a cast member. That's just not how the show works and that's how it's becoming."
Snooki gave birth to her first child in August 2012 five months after announcing her engagement to baby daddy Jionni LaValle. The couple welcomed their second child in September 2014 before tying the knot two months later. She delivered her third child in May this year.
The TV personality was first introduced by MTV in an episode of "She Really Going Out With Him?" in 2009. She later became one of the main cast members on the original "Jersey Shore" until it ended in 2012. She went on to star on a spinoff "Snooki & Jwoww" with her bestie. She returned to the "Jersey Shore" revival in 2018.
