The Amazon adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid's best-selling novel will have Niki Caro serving as its pilot's director and Reese Witherspoon as executive producer.
Elvis Presley's granddaughter, Riley Keough, has landed the lead in Amazon's upcoming "Daisy Jones & The Six" series, based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's best-selling novel.
Niki Caro will direct the pilot and other episodes and also executive produce alongside Reese Witherspoon.
Jenkins Reid's book chronicles the ups and downs of a 1970s rock band.
It's not the first time Keough has portrayed a rocker - she made her feature debut in 2010's "The Runaways", opposite Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning.
