The Eve Moneypenny of the James Bond movie franchise is reportedly in discussions to play the infamous female villain who has romantic entanglement with Carnage.

AceShowbiz - Naomie Harris is reportedly in talks for the upcoming "Venom" sequel. According to a scoop from Variety, the "Collateral Beauty" actress is having discussions with the "Venom 2" producers to take on the coveted role of Spider-Man villainess Shriek.

The second movie due October 2, 2020 will be directed by Andy Serkis and Tom Hardy is returning to play the titular anti-hero. Michelle Williams and Woody Harrelson from the first film are also back reprising their respective roles as Anne Weying and Cletus Kasady.

Kasady, later known as Carnage in the comic books, was introduced briefly in the 2018 movie during the mid-credits scene. The plot for the second film is still under wraps, but Carnage and Shriek are expected to antagonize Hardy's Eddie Brock since the two have a romantic relationship in the books.

Naomie Harris was last seen sharing screen with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in "Rampage" and playing mother wolf Nisha in "Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle". She will next star in action thriller "Black and Blue" along with Tyrese Gibson and Frank Grillo. She is also set to reprise her role as Eve Moneypenny in the upcoming James Bond movie "No Time to Die".
