While they have yet to settle on their finances and the custody of their six-year-old daughter, the former 'Step Up' stars seek to legally become single in the eyes of the law.

AceShowbiz - Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have reportedly agreed to legally become single - despite the fact they haven't fully settled their divorce case yet.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, the pair are bifurcating the status of their divorce, meaning they will become single in the eyes of the law and are free to marry someone else.

The rest of the divorce case will remain open, as they negotiate a settlement of their finances and custody of their six-year-old daughter, Everly.

It comes amid swirling engagement rumours, after Jenna announced she is pregnant with her new boyfriend, Broadway star Steve Kazee. Meanwhile, Channing is enjoying a relationship with pop star Jessie J.

The "Step Up" stars met and fell in love on the set of the 2006 dance movie, but shocked fans in April last year (2018) when they announced their separation after nearly nine years of marriage.
