The inmate, who is facing life in prison for the murder of the rapper, was reportedly found 'near dead' in his cell, months after his 17-year-old brother committed suicide.

AceShowbiz - Nipsey Hussle's killer Eric Holder reportedly tried to end his own life in prison. The man, who is accused of shooting and killing "The Life" hitmaker, is believed to have attempted suicide while awaiting the decision in his trial for Nipsey's murder.
According to MTO News, Eric was found "near dead" inside his jail cell. A screenshot of Eric's inmate record which has circulated online shows that he was taken to "USCM" (University Southern California Medical Center), or Los Angeles County Hospital, on September 19. Inmates are only moved to the medical facility in the event of a serious medical emergency.
Prior to being rushed to the hospital, Eric was reportedly kept in solitary confinement. There's no word on his condition now. His next trial is scheduled for October 9, but it's unknown if his condition will affect the court date or if he will be able to attend the next trial.
The news of Eric's alleged suicide attempt came five months after his teen brother took his own life. The 17-year-old sibling of the accused killer died of suicide on April 12. The teenager shares a father with Eric, but is of different mother.
Eric was arrested on April 2, two days after he was caught on surveillance camera shooting Nipsey multiple times in front of his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles. He has been charged with one count of murder, two of attempted murder, and one of possession of a firearm by a felon. Eric has pleaded not guilty to all charges. He is facing life in prison if found guilty of the crimes.
It was previously revealed that Eric shot Nipsey after they got into a conversation in which the rapper, whose real name is Ermias Joseph Asghedom, accused the 29-year-old man of snitching. "Mr. Holder got out of the car, immediately walked up to the group where Mr. Hussle, or Mr. Asghedom was, and they had a conversation," Deputy District Attorney John McKinney explained. "That conversation is important because that conversation had something to do with Mr. Asghedom accusing Mr. Holder of snitching, which in the gang world is a very serious offense."
