AceShowbiz - Rapper Kamaiyah has reportedly been arrested after a gun she was carrying was fired during a movie screening.
Law enforcement authorities told TMZ the star was enjoying a film at an apartment building in the San Fernando Valley, California last month (August 2019), when the firearm went off.
Surveillance footage apparently caught the incident, showing a woman - who officers believe to be the "Why You Always Hatin?" star - pulling a handgun from inside her bag, after which the weapon fired. She fled the scene shortly afterwards.
They claimed the shooting appeared to be accidental, and the gun went off as Kamaiyah was playing with it.
The star was subsequently arrested, and cops discovered what is believed to be the same gun on her person. She was charged with felony negligent discharge of a firearm and was later released on a $35,000 (£28,155) bond.
