The 'Juice' hitmaker has publicly accused a driver at the food delivery service of stealing her order, before a representative of the brand reaches out to her to sort out the issue.

AceShowbiz - Singer Lizzo is accusing a driver at food delivery service Postmates of stealing her order.

The "Hustlers" star took to Twitter on Monday, September 16 to complain to bosses at the company along with a screenshot of her purchase.

"Hey @Postmates this girl Tiffany W. stole my food. she lucky I don't fight no more," Lizzo wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

A rep for the brand replied to the comment immediately asking for her to direct message them with further information, to which the "Juice" hitmaker responded, "I dm'd u."

"As soon as Lizzo reached out, we looked into the matter and quickly resolved the issue. We apologize to Lizzo for any inconvenience," a Postmates spokesperson said in a statement to People magazine.

Lizzo has since backtracked and apologised for her rant, stating, "I understand I have a large following and that there were so many variables that could've put her (Tiffany W) in danger. Imma really be more responsible with my use of social media and check my petty and my pride at the door (sic)."

A source familiar with the situation told Rolling Stone that the Postmates employee at the centre of the drama waited at the designated drop-off location but was unable to reach Lizzo, so moved on with her delivery.
