AceShowbiz - Like mother, like daughter. That is probably the best quote to describe Pink and her daughter Willow Sage right now because the 8-year-old girl has just gotten a new haircut that is similar to a look her pop superstar mom has rocked before.
Pink's husband, Carey Hart, was the one who offered fans the first look at Willow's partially shaved head as he shared on Instagram on Monday, September 9 a photo of the little girl getting her hair done in a salon. He wrote in the caption, "Loving my punk rock daughter. Remember everyone fly your own flag. There is no box to be put in. It's been to be your own self. Own it and love it. And if anyone has a problem with it, tell them (politely) to move on."
Gushing over his eldest child, the former motorcycle racer added, "Can't wait to see the woman you grow up to be. I have a feeling you are gonna be strong, fierce, [compassionate] and caring. I'm so proud of you, Willow."
Not only Carey, but a lot of his Instagram devotees were also loving Willow's new look. Some could even see her resemblance to Pink, with one commenting, "She looks so much like momma here! Way to go Willow!" Another shared her own experience, "Love it! My daughter wanted to do the same thing around age 10 and we totally let her. You look awesome Willow!!"
This is not the first time Willow has ever rocked a wild hairstyle. Last month, Pink dyed her daughter's hair blue in support of Jessica Simpson who was parent-shamed for coloring her kids' hair. Sharing a photo of her completing the dye job and a close-up look at Willow's blue do, the "Just Give Me a Reason" singer said, "I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven-year-old get her hair colored. So we thought we'd share what we did yesterday."
