A representative for the 'Love and Hip Hop: Miami' star claims that the rapper is 'doing as to be expected' after Vernessa Taylor lost her battle with cancer on September 2 morning.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Trina is mourning the death of her mother Vernessa Taylor, after she lost her battle with cancer on Monday (September 02).
Vernessa, who went by the nickname Nessa, was just 62 when she passed away at approximately 12.30am.
"Thank you all for your kind words and condolences regarding Trina's mother," a representative for Trina said in a statement. "It truly gives the family some peace and comfort knowing that Nessa lived such a fulfilling life filled with love and abundance."
"On behalf of Trina and her family, we ask that you keep them in your prayers and give them their privacy as they mourn the loss of her mother, grandmother, aunt and role model to many. We truly appreciate your ongoing support and continued love."
The "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" star, who had a close bond with her mother, is "doing as to be expected" following the tragedy, the representative added.
Trina frequently shared snaps of her mum on her social media pages, and shared an image on Instagram back in June, writing: "My entire world...my strength, my weakness, my reason for never giving up, my peace, my joy, my EVERYTHING."
She also paid tribute to Nessa in 2017 song "Mama (The One)", which included lyrics about her wanting to pass away before her mother so she wouldn't have to deal with the loss.
