AceShowbiz - French Formula 2 driver Anthoine Hubert has been killed in a crash at the Belgian Grand Prix.
The sportsman, 22, died on Saturday, August 31 at the Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium after losing control of his car and crashing into a barrier, before bouncing into the path of Juan Manuel Correa's car.
Correa's flipped, while Hubert's vehicle was split in two by the impact.
The race was cancelled minutes later and Anthoine was taken to an emergency centre, where he was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, Juan is in stable condition and is being treated at a hospital in Belgium.
On Sunday, British star Lewis Hamilton, Mick Schumacher, son of Michael Schumacher, retired French legend Alain Prost and other luminaries from the motor-racing world joined Anthoine's mother Nathalie and brother Victhor at a memorial for the tragic driver held at the track. It included a one-minute silence.
