AceShowbiz - This is surely something that no one would have seen coming. Fans were sent into frenzy after Jay-Z was spotted attending Jonas Brothers' tour stop at Madison Square Garden in New York on Thursday night, August 29, and he seemed to be having a good time there.
In one video captured by a concertgoer, the "4:44" rapper was seen bopping his head to the group's 2006 hit "Year 3000" as he watched them perform onstage. This was surely such a surprising turn of event for fans considering that Jeezy had once dissed Jonas Brothers on his song "Real as It Gets". On it, he rapped, "No, I'm not a Jonas, Brother I'm a grown-up/ No I'm not a virgin, I use my cojones."
Besides enjoying his time at the concert, Jeezy also got to hang out with the brothers backstage.
People's reactions were varied, with some poking fun at his past diss against the three-piece band. Meanwhile, others were genuinely surprised to see him at the concert. "That's a combination I've never thought I would see," one commented, along with a GIF of Seth Meyers saying, "Where am I?" Another joked, "Still can't believe the J in Jay-Z stands for Jonatic."
One concertgoer admitted, "I went to the same Jonas brothers concert as Jay z and dr. phil is a sentence I never thought I'd type in my lifetime." One other echoed, "I can't believe me and Jay z went to a Jonas brothers concert together."
Nick Jonas has also spoken out on Jeezy's attendance at his band's concert. Talking to Entertainment Tonight, the "Jealous" singer said that he wasn't really surprised to see the music mogul attending the show, but what surprised him the most was the fact that he rocked out to "Year 3000". He noted, "The fact that he was there supporting during 'Year 3000' is kind of a scenario I never thought would happen."
