AceShowbiz - Chicago West might be braver than any adults out there. Kim Kardashian's second daughter made headlines when her mother shared on Instagram on Wednesday, August 21 a video of her playing with a snake nonchalantly during their Bahamas trip.
The little girl could be seen in the video fearlessly grasping the reptile and holding it in her arms as the animal slithered around her shoulders. Not stopping there, Chicago even lifted the snake's head to look at it straight in the eye. When a snake handler showed off another one to her, she laughed delightedly. It was clear that she was at ease. "My brave girl Chicago," Kim captioned the clip.
However, people were not so impressed after watching the video and slammed Kim for letting her daughter play with the reptile. Someone said it was "irresponsible parenting," adding, "A child who doesn't know the difference between poisonous snakes and unpoisonous ones is being encouraged to hold snakes like that and them in their eyes..." Another reminded Kim that snakes aren't "toys for spoiled brat!"
The user continued, "That is a living animal and the way she is handling it is appaling! Teach your kid some respect for living beings!" One other was in disbelief and said, "WTF are letting your g play with damn snake???"
There were still some who were impressed by how brave Chicago was, though. Khloe Kardashian thought the girl is "crazy!" before adding, "Look how she's looking at his face. Omg. I love my brave girl." Meanwhile, La La Anthony couldn't believe "she handled that snake like that!!! Wow." Another said, "Kids have no damn fear. I'm scared watching this."
Chicago is the daughter that Kim shares with husband Kanye West. The couple has three more children, North, Saint and Psalm. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star recently shared the first photo of the siblings posing together, but joked how hard it was to take the picture.
"Bahamas bs Pics Coming Up! I thought taking a pic with three kids was hard OMG this is almost impossible!" Kim wrote underneath the photo, which saw Chicago and North matching their mom in shiny silver one-piece swimsuits. Meanwhile, the boys were dressed in dark green trunks.
