The "Cake by the Ocean" singer ended his 20s alongside his wife and his bandmates on the Jonas Brothers' private plane, as it departed from North Carolina and headed to the band's next stop in Washington D.C. on their "Happiness Begins Tour". While the "Game of Thrones" actress, 23, honoured the star as "the best thing that's ever happened to me" in a sweet Instagram post, the celebrations didn't end there.
Midway through the "Sucker" group's set, Joe's brother Nick Jonas, 26, kicked off the festivities with a celebratory birthday song, with Kevin Jonas, 31, and the rest of the stadium picking it up from there.
As the rousing rendition came to an end, Sophie surprised her husband when she brought a cake out on stage and gave him a kiss at the end of the song.
In a clip shared online, Sophie could be seen in the background lighting the candles on his birthday cake with Kevin's wife, Danielle, while Joe enjoyed his special moment onstage.
At the end of the song, Joe blew out his candles and gave Sophie a sweet kiss, for which the audience cheered extra loudly before Joe took a big bite out of the cake.
Taking to Instagram following the show, Joe gushed, "Couldn't have asked for a better night, thank you all so much. Nothing better than doing what I love with my loves on my birthday."
The couple wed in Las Vegas in May, in an impromptu ceremony following the Billboard Music Awards, then tied the knot again with a proper ceremony in France in June.
