Lindsie is 'flabbergasted' by her father's claims of her alleged extramarital affairs with Josh and Robby Hayes, while the 'Chrisley Knows Best' star denies he and his son Chase tried to extort her with a sex tape.

AceShowbiz - Todd Chrisley's family issues get more complicated amid tax evasion charges against him and his wife. The "Chrisley Knows Best" star's feud with his estranged daughter Lindsie Chrisley has just elevated to a new level with new claims they launched against each other.
Days after Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley were indicted on 12 counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion, E! News revealed a police report in which Lindsey stated that "there is an ongoing issue with her family threatening and harassing her."
In the report taken on July 16 of this year, Lindsie claimed her stepbrother Chase Chrisley purchased a sex tape involving her. The "Coffee Convos" podcast co-host alleged that her father and stepbrother "wanted her to lie about an incident and if she refused to do so, they were going to release the sex tape involving her."
Todd then released a statement denying the allegations of extortion attempt. "It's heartbreaking and shameful that these kinds of accusations have to be aired in public," he said, before revealing his daughter's alleged dirty laundry involving "The Bachelorette" stars Josh Murray and Robby Hayes. "We have tried to keep Lindsie's extramarital relationships with Robby Hayes and Josh Murray private for her sake since August of 2016," he casually stated.
"Sadly, for reasons we can only guess at, she ran to the sheriff's office to accuse her brother of buying a sex tape of her and Robby, which was a complete lie, and now she's telling more lies about me," he added. "Although our hearts are broken, Lindsie is our daughter and we will always love her."
Julie and Todd's attorney Stephen Friedberg also called the extortion claims "completely false." The attorney told E! News, "Back on June 6th of this year, I interviewed her and took a sworn statement and she denied everything. She stated she was never coerced in being an aid to her father at all." He added, "She came voluntarily and contacted her father and that she wanted to help and that she had information and she voluntarily came into the office."
Meanwhile, Lindsie and Josh have quickly responded to Todd's claims of extramarital affair, denying any sexual relationship between them. Josh, who was the winner of "The Bachelorette" season 10 starring Andi Dorfman, said in a statement, "Lindsie and I have been friends for years. I know Todd and his family are going through some tough times right now and I pray everything works out in their favor."
He continued, "They should probably focus on how not to be imprisoned for 30 years rather than spreading gossip to try and hurt their daughter. I truly believe they are good people and I wish them the best in however they choose to go about their actions."
Lindsie, meanwhile, is taking the allegations more seriously, calling them "serious crimes" against her. Her attorney Musa Ghanayem said in a statement, "Lindsie would like nothing more than to be left alone and go about her own business. Unfortunately, certain members of her family will not let her live in peace. We are flabbergasted at the audacity of Todd and Chase Chrisley, who are more focused on attacking my client rather than defending themselves against the allegations of criminal conduct."
The attorney added, "While is it not necessary to detail their repugnant actions, it is important to note that the allegations are of serious crimes against Lindsie. Lindsie had made a complaint of their acts to law enforcement and she will provide them whatever they need in the course of their investigation into her family's actions. Lindsie prays for a just outcome so that she can go forward with her life safe from those who are looking to do her harm."
Lindsie previously denied her brother Kyle Chrisley's claim that she provided information to authorities that led to their father's arrest. "It was reported that Lindsie was the source of information that led to her father's arrest. This is untrue, Lindsie was not the source of this information," read a statement released by her attorney. "Lindsie has been the constant target of lies, harassment and threats from her family. As a result, she has distanced herself from the Chrisley family since 2017."
