Some take issue with how the 'Hotline Bling' rapper introduces the Bronx femcee as the 'hardest working female rapper,' in addition to calling him a 'clown' and a 'fraud' among other things.

AceShowbiz - Drake brought a lot of surprise guests at his annual OVO Fest in Toronto. For the closing night alone, he invited a slew of big names in the industry that included Meek Mill, Megan Thee Stallion and Chris Brown. Noticeably missing from the line up was his pal Nicki Minaj, and that made a lot of her fans upset because he brought her nemesis Cardi B instead of the Barbz.

Some even took their frustration on social media, declaring that the Canadian superstar is canceled and calling him a "snake." One angrily tweeted, "Drake is a whole snake. How do you bring out Cardi B and not Nicki at your own fest #OVOFest, like that really bugs me because WHY." Another echoed the sentiment, "Drake is the biggest snake ever so we go from the migos to meek to now cardi b the snake really jumped out..."

There were also people who took issue with how Drake introduced Cardi as the "hardest working female rapper" prior to her performance. "Drake is literal trash I hate him so much... first he collabs with nicki's ex then he brings out cardi and says she's the hardest working female rapper. Someone deal with this rat and remind him who made him relevant in 2010," someone said.

Another individual called the "Hotline Bling" rapper "corny and toxic," adding, "Rihanna rejects you and collab with Chris Brown, Nicki rejects you and you collab with Meek Mill now crowning Cardi as a legend? Definition of a simp. I'm sorry." Someone else, meanwhile, dubbed him a clown and a "fraud" over what he did.

The backlash aside, the annual OVO Fest was a success. In addition to celebrating Toronto Raptors' win at the NBA, Drake performed several of his hits that included "Over", "Headlines" and "Gyalchester" before bringing in Gucci Mane, Meek and Brown among others.
