AceShowbiz - It looks like the criticism leveled against Khloe Kardashian over her romance with Tristan Thompson is still so intense that the basketball player feels the need to defend her. Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, July 31, Tristan addressed rumors of him cheating on ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig with the 35-year-old blonde beauty.

In contrary to what the rumors stated, Tristan insisted that he had split from Jordan when he first met Khloe. "When I met Khloe I was SINGLE. The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary. She does not deserve all this backlash for my wrong doings," he wrote on the micro-blogging site, before applauding his exes for their co-parenting efforts. "Both Khloe and Jordan have been nothing but great mothers to my kids."

Besides defending the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star, the Cleveland Cavaliers player also put rumors of him reconciling with Jordan to rest after fans speculated that they had been vacationing together. "I have spent the last few months training for my upcoming nba season and making sure that I am in the best shape possible," he said. "I have not been on vacations at all this summer and the current rumors spreading are 100% false."

This arrives just days after both Tristan and Jordan left fans wondering whether they were currently on vacation together due to their recent Instagram posts. The Los Angeles native shared on the social media site a picture of her and her son Prince sunbathing together in matching striped swimsuits. Shortly before she posted the pic, Tristan shared a photo of the little boy wearing the same trunks as he smiled happily on a yacht.

This made fans think that they might be going on a trip together. "Wow. Tristan Thompson is on holiday with baby number one Jordy Craig!" one said, while another commented, "She's in Jamaica with Tristan. Yasss girl get your man back."
