The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker previously defended her courtroom style, saying in now-deleted Instagram videos, 'I don't dress inappropriate when I go to court. I dress like a young f***ing lady.'

AceShowbiz - Cardi B has been visiting courtroom for the past few days for her ongoing assault case, and it is not surprising that Wendy Williams discussed the matter in the recent episode of her talkshow. However, instead of talking about the case, the TV personality opted to highlight the rapper's outfit choice when hitting the courtroom.

During the Hot Topics segment in the Tuesday, July 16 episode of "The Wendy Williams Show", Wendy revealed that she thought her outfit wasn't appropriate. "As a woman I do have to say, Cardi, it's like wearing a fur coat to the welfare office, and a splash of diamonds. There's some things that you kind of just don't do," she said.

She went on discussing a recent interview by Joe Tacopino, the lawyer of Cardi's alleged victims in the current assault case at strip club brawl in 2018, in which he said that the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker was only concerned about her court outfits. The 54-year-old host said, "There's 2 things you fear in my opinion -- death and court."

"I love Cardi, don't take this the wrong way, but this is [a message] for everybody going to court: You have to have a certain amount of humble respect for why you're there," she added. "This is a very wealthy woman, and she's got very lovely breasts, but there's a time and a place to show them, but I wouldn't wear this to court."

"You don't carry a multi-thousand dollar bag… She's too couture for court and the Birkin bag, you don't carry that to court," she continued. "Cardi don't hate me, I'm just talking my truth, I do it everyday. Sometimes men don't need to say anything about how a woman can dress herself, like shut up!"

Cardi B is currently fighting two felony counts and 10 other lesser charges for the alleged strip club brawl. The Grammy winner previously clapped back at Tacopina for saying that she treated the courtroom like "a runway show" in an interview with New York Post. "I don't dress inappropriate when I go to court. I dress like a young f***ing lady," Cardi said in a series of now-deleted videos on Instagram. "Where am I supposed to get my suits from, H&M? Why are you worried about the way I dress?"

"I don't dress inappropriate when I go to court. I dress like a young f**king lady," Cardi said in a series of now-deleted videos on Instagram. "Where am I supposed to get my suits from, H&M? Why are you worried about the way I dress?"

"That just goes to show you that y'all do this s**t for press. I went to court six times already for a f**king misdemeanour," Cardi exclaimed. "There was one time I went to court with no makeup on. Just motherf**king ChapStick."
