The 'Descendants' actor's father Victor shares his son's final photo as he thanks fans and friends for the outpouring love and support they've received while dealing with the 'agony' over the loss.

AceShowbiz - While many are still dealing with the inconsolable grief over the death of Cameron Boyce, his father seemingly tries to help ease their pain by sharing one of his son's final pictures. Victor Boyce took to his Instagram account on Wednesday, July 10 to post the photo taken hours before the 20-year-old's untimely death.

Cameron, wearing a blue denim jacket, appeared to be in good spirits as he shyly gazed to the camera. He puckered up his lips while supporting his chin with his hand. "My son. Just hours before he was snatched from our lives," Victor captioned the snap.

"I miss him terribly," he added in the heartbreaking message. "I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I'm feeling but no one is immune to tragedy." He went on thanking fans and friends, writing, "The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so beautiful and appreciated. Thank you all for helping us through our worst possible situation."

Victor previously tweeted on Sunday, a day after his son passed away, "I'm overwhelmed with the love and support our family has received. It really does help to ease the pain of this nightmare I can't wake up from. I can't thank you guys enough."

A Boyce family spokesperson has confirmed that Cameron died of seizure caused by epilepsy, which he had been receiving treatment for. An autopsy has been performed, but release of the official cause of death was deferred, "pending further investigation."

Among those who are mourning Cameron's death is former First Lady Michelle Obama. The 55-year-old author posted on Instagram a throwback picture of her with younger Cameron and wrote in the caption, "I was lucky enough to share a few moments with Cameron Boyce-on set, at the White House, and on a service project-enough time to recognize that not only did he have incredible talent, but also an incredible heart. Sending out a lot of love and hugs to his family, friends, and his many, many fans."
