Gushing that his former co-star was 'so fearless', the 'Kenan & Kel' star recalls teaching her comic tricks on the set and praises her for earning a degree in fashion design.

AceShowbiz - Actor and comedian Kel Mitchell is attempting to recruit former "All That" co-star Amanda Bynes to join the sketch show's reboot.

The beloved series ran from 1994 to 2004, and Mitchell recently joined several of his former cast members for a brand new season of the hit. But the 40 year old reveals he and the rest of the comedy's ensemble feel the show isn't complete without an appearance from Amanda.

"That would be crazy! We really want her to do a cameo in All That," Mitchell tells Entertainment Tonight. "We've been talking about that. So, Amanda, come on, girl! Call ya brother up!".

Mitchell also recalled the close relationship he formed with the then-child star onset and how he helped with her comic timing.

"I love Amanda, she's like (my) little sister. She's so fearless," he shared. "I remember her being on set, she told me, 'Hey Kel, I wanna do the physical comedy that you do.' So I used to show her little tricks to do that would make her comedy just awesome."

While Bynes has endured a series of personal ups and downs, including stints at a psychiatric hospital in 2014 and in March, things are now looking up. Last month (June 19), she earned an Associate's degree in fashion design from California's prestigious Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM).

Mitchell couldn't be more thrilled for the 33-year-old, and thinks she may have found her true calling.

"She always had style, so going to fashion school was definitely what was up."
