It is reported that the former 'House of Cards' star was questioned by officers from the London Metropolitan Police force's Complex Case team in the United States back in May.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Spacey was reportedly quizzed by detectives at Scotland Yard over the sexual assault allegations he's facing in London.

The former "House of Cards" star was questioned by officers from the London Metropolitan Police force's Complex Case team in the U.S. back in May, according to Variety.

He faces six allegations of sexual assault in the U.K. between 1996 and 2013, and attended the interview voluntarily, and was not arrested.

While Scotland Yard did not name Spacey, a spokeswoman said: "In May 2019, a man was voluntarily interviewed under caution in America, by officers from the Met's Complex Case Team. He was not arrested. Inquiries are ongoing."

The 59-year-old, who lived in London while working as artistic director of the Old Vic theatre, was accused by 20 men of sexual assault, and has not been formally charged over the allegations, which surfaced in 2017.

The report comes just days after a man, who claimed Spacey groped him at a bar in the U.S. in 2016, dropped his civil case against the star.

The Oscar-winning actor still faces a criminal charge in America, and pleaded not guilty to indecent assault and battery back in January.

A rep for "The Usual Suspects" star has yet to comment on the report.
