AceShowbiz - Pharrell Williams and John Mayer are among the stars tapped by singer Daniel Caesar to feature on his surprise new album.
The 24-year-old musician released "Case Study 01", the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2017 debut "Freudian", on Friday, June 28 - surprising fans, as it dropped without warning.
Pharrell and John were the two biggest names unveiled as the stars latest collaborators, with the "Happy" hitmaker contributing to the smooth track "Frontal Lobe Muzik", and the "Your Body Is a Wonderland" singer appearing on the haunting cut Superposition.
The Canadian musician also teamed up with R&B star Brandy for the album's lead single, "Love Again".
Freudian was a sleeper hit and wowed critics, but it was the star's duet with H.E.R. (Gabi Wilson), "Best Part", that garnered mainstream attention, and won him the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance earlier this year.
