Ronald Eugene Griffin claims to be the new owner of the 'John Wick: Chapter 3' actress' Los Angeles house and accuses her staff of trespassing before LAPD officers decide otherwise.

AceShowbiz - Halle Berry has reportedly been targeted by a man who tried to fraudulently steal one of her homes.

Ronald Eugene Griffin, 59, first turned up to the Oscar-winning star's Los Angeles property in January and tried to fiddle with the locks, but ran off when approached by Halle's gardener, according to TMZ.com.

And in March, police received a call from some of the "Catwoman" star's employees, who said Griffin claimed he was the new owner of the home, had the deed to prove it, and was with a locksmith trying to change the locks.

Editors at TMZ reported that Griffin actually managed to change one of the locks, and made his own call to law enforcement, accusing the actress' workers of trespassing on his property.

Los Angeles Police Department officers arrested the 59-year-old when they finally determined Griffin had fraudulently changed the title of the residence.

He was later charged with procuring and offering a false warranty deed and an additional count of petty theft, with his bond set at $36,000.
