AceShowbiz - Fans of "Jersey Shore" may have been familiar seeing Pauly D with his gravity-defiant, gelled hairstyle. With that being said, it's only natural for fans to be pleasantly shocked when the 38-year-old TV star showed off a rare hair makeover in new photo.
On Wednesday, June 12, DJ Pauly D a.k.a. Paul DelVecchio shared a shirtless selfie of himself. He surprisingly ditched gel or any hair product as he was seen sporting natural 'do.
He posed for the camera with his mouth open under the summer heat which made his skin glow. Now that he had no gel in his hair, Pauly relied on a headband to keep his shiny, dark locks away from his face. "Haters Will Say It's Sweat, No Gel, Beard, Chest Hair, Outside :)" so he captioned the snap.
Surprised with the sudden makeover, fans flooded him with praises. "You look so good with your hair like this!" one fan said. "Honestly your hair looks way better without all that crap in it," another user chimmed in.
"What is this new look Pauly??? I love it," another fan wrote, while one other simply said, "I dig the no gel look."
Pauly may rarely be spotted without gelled blowouts, but this is not the first time for him to flaunt his natural hair. Back in 2010, the TV personality forewent his signature hair when he dressed up as Justin Bieber for his Halloween costume.
"I'll go out with a hat on, but as far as going out in public with no product in my hair, I bet it's been 10 years since I've done that," he said at the time before deejaying at Las Vegas' Moon Nightclub. Of going without gel on his hair, Pauly said, "It's driving me crazy. I never go out in public without product in my hair. It's fun, though."
