The former Sansa Stark depicter reveals that she had a photo double that looked so much like her that her boyfriend almost mistook her lookalike to the actress on the 'Game of Thrones' set.

AceShowbiz - Joe Jonas almost found himself at the centre of a major mix up when he leaned in to kiss his now-wife Sophie Turner's "Game of Thrones" double.

The pop star reveals he was on the set of the hit fantasy series, in which Turner portrayed Sansa Stark, when he mistook the actress' lookalike for the 23-year-old.

"I had a photo double that people would do double takes at because she looked so much like me (sic)," Turner said during an appearance on Australia's Smallzy's Surgery podcast. "It was insane. Even Joe went up to her at one point and tried to give her a kiss, and then he was like, 'Oh, sorry, sorry! It's not Sophie!' "

As well as playing Sophie's stunt double, Megan Parkinson also starred as Alys Karstark in the seventh and eighth seasons of "Game of Thrones". She's also appeared in programmes such as British drama series "Ackley Bridge", the third series of which premieres later this month.

The "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" star and the "Sucker" hitmaker wed in Las Vegas immediately following the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in May, and Turner admits the start of their married life has been a magical whirlwind as she promotes her new "X-Men" film and he prepares for the release of the Jonas Brothers comeback album and a massive reunion tour.

"I'm really excited for him, and it's an exciting time for the both of us," she added. "Obviously I'm his biggest cheerleader and he is mine, so I think we're both excited for each other's projects more than our own."
