In his legal action against the 'Thank U, Next' hitmaker, photographer Robert Barbera claims that she is using his paparazzi snaps without asking for permission or paying a fee.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has been sued by a photographer for allegedly posting his paparazzi shots on her Instagram page.

According to TMZ.com, snapper Robert Barbera claims the "Thank U, Next" singer shared his pictures with her 154 million Instagram followers without asking for permission or paying a fee.

He has filed a lawsuit demanding either the profits made from the photographs, or $25,000 (£19,000), whichever is greater.

The photos in question, which feature her in a grey sweatshirt dress and cream boots and carrying a see-through bag emblazoned with the name of her album "Sweetener", earned her almost 3.4 million likes on the social media website.

The 25-year-old previously frustrated press photographers back in March when she imposed restrictive rules on snappers covering her "Sweetener World Tour", which included asking them to hand over all the rights to their photos to her tour company.
