In her attempt to keep her father Joe and her family together in the U.S., Gia Giudice claims that her father won't be able to survive in Italy and asks Donald Trump to pardon her father.

AceShowbiz - Teresa Giudice and her family keep their vow to continue fighting for the family patriarch Joe Giudice who is facing deportation. The couple's eldest daughter Gia Giudice has started an online petition on Change.org in an attempt to get President Donald Trump's attention to stop her father's deportation.

In the petition titled "STOP the Deportation of Joe Giudice", Gia shared her father's backstory, "My father, Joe Giudice, came to the United States when he was an infant, one year after his birth, he has resided in New Jersey his entire life. He is a businessman, a husband, father to four young women all under the age of 19, son, brother, uncle and friend to many."

She also detailed Joe's legal issue that landed him in jail and how he has taken responsibility for that. "He was found guilty of NON Violent offenses and served his time complying with all prison guidelines and procedures," she claimed. "He and my mother are willing to spend funds and additional time in an immigration prison for the chance he gets to hold his children again. They have made a mistake but rectified it through serving time and by finically satisfying all that was owed."

On her father's situation now, Gia continued, "He is currently still in a detention center while fighting the deportation; that's right he's still incarcerated months after completing his prison sentence in an effort to stand by his family. After completing his sentence he could've left the country and gone to Italy but he chose to stay in prison, hirer additional counsel and make several more appeals to try to stay in the United States because he knows how much his family needs him. He and my mother are willing to spend funds and additional time in an immigration prison for the chance he gets to hold his children again."

Gia went on arguing that her father wouldn't be able to survive in Italy. "He knows nothing of Italian culture, laws, societal norms, he has no immediate family and will not be able to secure work in this foreign land. My father is not a danger to society, he is a warm loving man and I beg you sign our petition to give my father a second chance at being part of our lives and giving back to the community we live in once a again," she explained.

Sharing her fear that her father would miss the chance to attend their "graduations, meeting our future husbands for the first time, of walking us down the aisle, of being there when his grandchildren come into the world," she requests "that our President, Donald J Trump review our petition and pardon my father to relieve him of this life sentence the courts are bestowing on him."

The petition, posted on behalf of her mother Teresa and sisters Gabriella, Milania and Audriana, has reached its initial goal of 35,000 signatures and has so far gained more than 48,000 signatures. Teresa supports the petition by reposting it on Instagram, though she earned backlash for remaining quiet when many Mexican families were separated from each other.

She further complicated the matter when she responded to a follower's criticism, but missed a coma. "I never said that all families matter," she wrote back to the follower, prompting others to accuse her of racism because the lack of coma gave the statement a completely different meaning.

Meanwhile, it's reported that Teresa and her daughters have not visited in ICE custody since he's released from prison and transported to the ICE facility. A source argues that "her filming schedule has been pretty hectic, and the ICE facility where he is being detained is several hours away."

Another source tells E! News, "The family hasn't visited Joe because it's a horrifyingly frightening place where Joe is living in filthy conditions. The facility is several hours away from their home and Teresa has tried to keep a very low profile when it comes to Joe on the request of his immigration attorneys."
