During her appearance on Jay Rayner's 'Out to Lunch' podcast, the 45-year-old singer shares Victoria is 'petrified' of performing.

AceShowbiz - Many people may think that the reason why Victoria Adams (Victoria Beckham) skips out Spice Girls' reunion tour is because of her hectic schedule. But Melanie C (Mel C) has different opinion on that.
The 45-year-old singer revealed on Jay Rayner's "Out to Lunch" podcast this week that Victoria doesn't love performing. "I'm sure, Victoria wouldn't mind me saying, the Olympics was hard for her," she told the host, referring to the London closing ceremony in 2012.
Mel C, whose real name is Melanie Chisholm, continued saying, "You know, she's moved on, her life has changed, and she just doesn't have that love of performing, and in fact, it completely petrifies her."
"She's extremely busy and successful in what she's doing. She has put her heart and soul into her business, and ... to step away from that, and ... not give it the time that she does at the moment would be difficult," Mel C added. "But also, I'm sure, if she felt passionate about being on stage and loved it, then she'd be there."
"We're all very sensitive of that, and we completely understand," she continued, insisting that she and the others didn't have ill feeling for the wife of David Beckham. "We're all sad that Victoria won't be joining us, but it's all genuinely very supportive you know, obviously understand and support her."
Alongside groupmates Geri Horner (Geri Halliwell), Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown (Mel B), Mel C announced in November 2018 that they'd be hitting the road for a string of shows in the U.K. later this year. Although Victoria won't be joining them on stage, the fashion designer shared in a January interview with The Guardian that she would feel a bit "left out" when seeing her former bandmates performing. However, she added that her fashion empire was her current main focus.
Recently, Spice Girls made headlines after Mel B claimed that she had one-time sex with Geri. The 43-year-old singer, who has previously come out as bisexual, made the stunning admission while filming an interview for "Piers Morgan's Life Stories" series.
"We were best friends. It just happened. She (Geri) is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in her country house and her husband, but it's a fact. It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it," the former "America's Got Talent" judge told Piers, before insisting that they only had sex once.
"This is a bombshell. A Spice Girls bombshell. You have never admitted this before have you? People are going to be fascinated!" a shocked Piers said.
Joking that Geri's husband Christian was going to kill her for sharing the news of their saucy romance, Mel replied, "Yeah and I have said it now. All done. She is going to kill me and so is her husband. Hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won't deny it, because it was just a thing, a fun thing."
