Sticking by his opposition to the 45th president of the United States, the Captain America depicter threatens to 'cut ties' with the New England Patriots quarterback if he is 'still on that Trump train.'

AceShowbiz - Chris Evans is considering cutting ties with his sporting hero Tom Brady if the footballer really is a Donald Trump fan.
The "Captain America" star is a die-hard New England Patriots fan but he tells The Hollywood Reporter he will dial back his support for the team's quarterback if he doesn't clear up his links to the President.
Evans has become a vocal opponent to Trump on social media and he can't believe Brady is still a fan of the controversial leader.
"I really hope he's not a Trump supporter," the actor tells the publication. "I'm just hoping he's one of those guys that maybe supported him and now regrets it".
"Maybe he thought it was going to be different - and even that bothers me - but maybe there's a chance now he just thinks Trump's an absolute dumb s**t, which he is. If he doesn't, if he's still on that Trump train, I might have to cut ties. It's really tough... I'm just hoping he's woken up".
It has been well documented that Brady was a political fan of his friend Trump.
Meanwhile, Evans tells The Hollywood Reporter he won't be dialing back his attacks on Trump anytime soon, even if that means he loses fans and job opportunities.
"You don't want to alienate half your audience, but I'd be disappointed in myself if I didn't speak up," he says. "Especially for fear of some monetary repercussion or career damage - that just feels really gross to me".
