AceShowbiz - Kim Zolciak-Briemann believes in her own parenting skill and refuses to let anyone bring her down for that. The TV personality, who is known for sparking criticism for her way of raising her children, had some words for her parent-shamers during her appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" on Sunday night, March 24.
Claiming that she didn't really read social media response, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum said, "I feel like I'm a really good mom. We all make mistakes and we all learn as we go. I'm very proud of all of my children. I think I'm a really good mom and nobody can really take that."
Elsewhere in the episode, she also addressed the recent drama on her own show "Don't Be Tardy...", on which her estranged brother's Mike Zolciak criticized her daughter Brielle Biermann. Not only that, Mike's wife was also caught on camera whispering to him, "Brielle's half naked," when they attended her 40th birthday party.
Addressing the situation, Kim said, "I don't think [Mike] can relate to Brielle and her Instagram world and how successful she's become and been. And then the half naked comment, I asked Kroy [Biermann], because like, we were all really dressed. My sleeves went to here, my skirt went to here, my boots met my skirt, so that was a little strange. I think they forgot they were mic'd."
Besides her critics and her brother, Kim also talked about her parents in the episode, revealing that their relationship is still on the rocks. "I don't talk to my parents, but I talk to my brother," Kim, who sported a brunette wig in the episode, said. As for her husband Kroy Biermann's parents, she noted, "They're great people. It's just we don't jive."
Kim and her parents haven't spoken to each other since her 2011 wedding, where Karen got into an explosive argument with Kroy when she was denied access to use a private restroom in their home.
