The pair, who have been reported to be going through a hard time amid Justin's mental struggle, coupled up while vacationing in Newport Beach, California on Tuesday, March 19.

The newlyweds were photographed chilling after taking a relaxing stroll on the beach. They sat on a patch of grass before Hailey cuddled up to her singer husband. In one of the photos that circulated online, Hailey, who was dressed in jeans and a gray crop top, affectionately straddled Justin as she wrapped her arms around him.

At one point, the model was seen stroking the "Despacito" hitmaker's hair. Another picture, meanwhile, saw the 22-year-old blonde comforting the Canadian heatthrob by giving him a tight hug.

The two were previously seen looking distressed during an outing at a public pool at the Montage in Laguna Beach. "Justin seemed pretty depressed at the start of the day,' an onlooker, who did not wish to be named, said to Daily Mail. "He was really sad and at first, he was hardly talking to Hailey, she was just lying on her lounger reading the bible."

The onlooker noted that he stopped "sulking around" and "noticeably bummed" when his mother Pattie Mallette appeared. "Justin and his mom embraced for so long when she first arrived, it was about three minutes. Then they snuggled for a while on the lounger," the source said. "He was rubbing his face and rubbing his eyes a lot, I couldn't tell if he was crying or not, but he did seem depressed."

Amid multiple reports suggesting that they are having an issue, Hailey herself had shut down the rumors on her Instagram account. "don't believe what ya read on the internet folks," the model wrote on Instagram Stories. Additionally, Hailey added a GIF that read, "FAKE NEWS."
