Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena Allegedly Fired From 'Love and Hip Hop' Franchise - Find Out Why

Should the report be true, it appears they don't have to worry about not making enough money because they recently created a YouTube channel.

AceShowbiz - Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena have apparently lost their job on "Love & Hip Hop" franchise. It has been reported that the engaged couple has different reasons why they were fired from the VH1 show. According to MTO News, Safaree lost his job after refusing to attend the "Love & Hip Hop: New York" reunion show.

The Jamaican rapper allegedly claimed that he decided not to attend out of fear Joe Budden and Rich Dollaz would physically attack him, but VH1 did not buy it. "The one sure way to get fired permanently is to disrespect the show by not showing up to [a shoot]," an insider told the gossip site. "You will never EVER see him on 'Love & Hip Hop' again. His career [as a reality star] is over."

As for Erica, the source explained that she was fired last year for continually bad mouthing the show in interviews. "We made [Erica] famous and she bad mouths us every time she opens her mouth. She got herself fired," a VH1 insider dished to MTO News.

Should the report be true, it appears Safaree and Erica don't have to worry about not making enough money. The couple recently started a YouTube channel titled "She's Crazy, I'm Not". The first video on their channel featured them spending nearly 20 minutes cuddling up while remembering how they turned their friendship into romance.

At one point in the video, Safaree claimed that Erica previously blocked him on social media because she was in a relationship with another man. In her defense, she stated that she needed to do that because she knew Safaree wanted to be more than friends, but she didn't want to betray the man she was dating at the time. Besides talking about their past, the couple also gushed over each other throughout the video.
